Syracuse, NY, April 14, 2010 – Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, New Horizons of Syracuse and Rochester, has expanded its course offerings on Windows 7 Microsoft’s latest desktop operating system. New Horizons of Syracuse and Rochester has released courses for Information Workers that cover the fundamentals of working with the Windows 7 desktop and taskbar, managing files and folders, customizing their desktop and managing settings. One such course offering, Windows 7: Transition from Windows XP, addresses the needs of users upgrading from Windows XP, the operating system used on most business desktops. “This new offering will be important to businesses in the community that want to maximize their investment in Windows 7 upgrades,” commented Linus Dirnberger, General Manager of New Horizons of Rochester. “Training on Windows 7 will help businesses ensure successful deployment, management and use of this operating system.” To coincide with their newest offerings, New Horizons will be delivering an introductory seminar entitled “Windows 7 End User Efficiencies" on May 12, 2010 in Syracuse and again on June 9, 2010 in Rochester.
