New Horizons of Rochester Celebrates Grand Opening

Rochester, NY, June 27, 2009 - New Horizons Computer Learning Center of Rochester celebrated their grand opening by holding a technology conference at their new location on Tuesday, June 23, 2009.

"Training for the Technology of the Future" focused on technology pertinent to all businesses striving to succeed in these challenging times.  Special breakout sessions were designed for executives, managers, IT professionals and information workers, highlighting the cutting-edge technology and business skills training offered by New Horizons of Rochester.

• Remote Learning:  What's Up with the Ribbon?
• Time Management Tips Using Outlook 2007
• MILE: Mentored Integrated Learning Environment
• Excel 2007 New Features

The public was invited to join New Horizons for breakfast and/or lunch, to tour the center and to attend one or more complimentary workshops. 

Mark Peterson, newly-elected president and CEO of Greater Rochester Enterprise Inc., greeted and spoke with attendees throughout the morning.

Also in attendance from New Horizons Computer Learning Centers were Mark Miller, President and CEO and Marie Daniels, Director, US Northeast.
